Me, Luna, I was seventeen when I left Belgium to travel for three years. My parents weren’t surprised. They had taken me sailing around the world when I was only seven years old .

Wout grew up with a more traditional Belgian passion: bicycling. Every year he and his family would rent a motor home and follow the cyclists of the Tour de France.

Together, we made a seven month road trip to China, in a rusty old Volkswagen camper named Willy. 

When we came back, my parents told us they bought an abandoned refuge that once was an outpost for the customs. Needing someone to run it for them, we jumped to the occasion. 

We think hospitality is about generosity. When our guests are happy, so are we.
